Data we collect

To use benzly all you need is an email address: we use it to send the magic link for sign-in and to contact you about your account. We don't ask for a password.

If you create a garage, we also store the vehicle and fill-up details you choose to log (litres, price, mileage, dates). We don't collect payment data because benzly is entirely free. The lawful basis for processing under UK GDPR is your consent and the performance of the service you ask us for.

Geolocation

If you tap «find my location» on the map, the browser asks your permission and passes your coordinates to centre the map. We don't store those coordinates — they stay in your browser.

Third-party services

• Supabase (Frankfurt, EU): database and authentication.
• OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap: map tiles.
• Cloudflare: hosting and content delivery.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email the address kept up to date here and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
